A true gentleman, Thunder would like you to know that he’s aging like a fine wine and has all the charm of Richard Gere during his “Pretty Cat” days. Thunder came to us when his owners were moving to Australia. Like many of us getting up there in age, all Thunder really wants is a warm place to sleep, regular snacks, and fewer daytime TV shows with Alison Hammond. He’s content keeping himself entertained, but he does enjoy company and is always happy to delegate tasks to his minions. When he’s had enough, he knows how to make his point and will politely suggest it’s time for a nap – his grumpy old man demeanor is an effective and clear form of communication. He’s definitely an entertainer. Thunder is currently napping on our guest bed. He’s barked at the mail carrier for disturbing him, watched Canadian geese fly by (he was impressed by their formation), and demanded his mid-morning snack at 10:59 AM. If he could, he’d enjoy a stroll around the yard, but he’s adapted quite well to his role as a domestic royalty. Could you be the perfect companion for Thunder? He’d prefer to be the only pet in the household, no small children, and a lot of love. He’s healthy, litter trained, free-fed Purina Biofensis, with the occasional Dreamie treat.
